Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: What furnishings are provided in the lodge and cottages?
A: Automatic gas heat, gas range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, cooking & eating utensils, color TV, shower, picnic table, lawn chairs, campfire ring and outdoor charcoal grill.

Q: Is the bedding included?
A: Yes, blankets, pillows, and bed linens are provided as part of the rental cost.

Q: Are towels included?
A: No, please bring your own bath and kitchen towels.

Q: What other things do we need to bring along?
A: Rentals come with a starter supply of toilet paper and garbage bags, but are not kept stocked.  Here is a brief check list of items to assist you in packing & shopping....condiments, your toiletries, paper napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, dish soap, hand soap, charcoal, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, garbage bags & etc.

Q: Are boats and docking space available?
A: Rentals include a 14ft. aluminum boat with docking space for your boat.

Q: Are boat motors available?
A: Yes, 8 h.p. motors are available for rental for use with the provided 14ft. aluminum boat.

Q: Are other boats available to rent?
A: Yes, a pontoon boat is available for 4 hours, daily, or weekly rental. Extra 14ft. aluminum boats are also available on a daily or weekly basis.

Q: Are pets allowed at Whispering Pine Lodge?
A: Sorry, no pets allowed.

Q: Is smoking allowed at Whispering Pine Lodge?
A: For the courtesy of all our guests, smoking is not permitted in the buildings.
