| The Lodge was originally built over 100 years ago as housing for loggers working in the area. Since 1946, the Lodge (and surrounding buildings) has been a family-owned resort.
The Lodge Cottage is a single unit for larger groups staying at Whispering Pine Lodge. The lodge consists of seven bedrooms upstairs, which can sleep up to 18 guests. Combined, the bedrooms have 2 kings, 4 doubles, and 6 single beds. 2.5 bathrooms upstairs and a 1/2 bathroom on main level. The Lodge Cottage is ideal for families and groups.
The kitchen and dining area are on the main floor, along with a large great room with a stone fireplace. Four of the bedrooms, the dining area, and a cozy sitting area all overlook Pickerel Lake. A screened-in 3-season porch also faces the lake. Satellite TV and a DVD are included in the Lodge Cottage. Wireless internet service is available for the lodge cottage. During the off-season, the Lodge Cottage is also available to small groups for meetings, business retreats, or other gatherings.
